The Secret Society of Hertford Crafters commemorated
the centenary of Armistice Day, WWI
We made over 15,000 knitted, crocheted or crafted poppies to raise funds for the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal
The poppies were on display at Hertford Castle.
£17,430 was donated.
Ware Christmas Trail
The Yarnbombers made twenty Christmas characters for a Ware Town Council trail in December.
Hertford Trail
These pirates and princesses were hiding around Hertford from 28th July to 1st September as part of a trail organised by Hertford Town Council.
Hertford Free Easter Egg Hunt
The SSOHC was thrilled to be asked by
Hertford Town Council to knit something for the annual Easter Egg hunt.
We came up with these Easter bunnies which were hidden in shops in Hertford during the Easter Holidays.
It was very successful and we even had a double page spread in the Mercury!
This was our "micro yarn bomb" - bespoke beer pump covers at the White Horse, Castle Street, Hertford.
