Winter Wonderland Trail
The trail ran from Saturday 28th December 2019 to Saturday 11th January 2020.
The Christmas knotted and crocheted characters were handmade by the Secret Society of Hertford Crafters and were raffled off at the end of the trail to fund future projects.
Christmas Tree
Hertford's yarn bombed Christmas Tree supported Hert's Young Homeless.
We created an advent Christmas Tree and opened a box every day.

Guide Dogs
In October, The Secret Society of Hertford Crafter made 13 very special guides for the Guide Dogs Hertford & Ware fundraising group to raffle.
They were on display in the window at the Hertford Town & Tourist Information Centre and raised £148 from the raffle.
Pirates & Princesses
The Pirates & Princesses trail, organised by Hertford
.Town Council, ran from 17th August to 7th September
Children could take part in the free trail which took them on a hunt around the town centre on a search to locate up to twenty knitted or crocheted pirates & princesses.
On completion of the trails, children received a prize or sweet treat from the Town and Tourist Information Centre.

Mythical/Magical Creatures Trail
The Mythical/Magical Creatures trail, organised by Hertford Town Council, ran from Wednesday 24th July until Friday 16th August .
Children could take part in the free trail which took them on a hunt around the town centre on a search to locate up to twenty knitted hidden mythical/magical creatures including a wizard, goblin, mermaid, dragon, snow queen, fairy, troll, pixie and phoenix.
On completion of the trails, children received a prize or sweet treat from the Town and Tourist Information Centre.
Sharing the Love in February
The SSOHC created a heart made of over 150 kitted roses which was in the Hertford Tourist Information Centre until St. Valentines day.
It was suggested a minimum donation of £1 to The Mayor of Hertford's chosen charities St John Ambulance and Prostate Cancer UK to have your photo taken in the heart.
The heart was auctioned and £120 was raised in total.
Hertford Free Easter Egg Hunt
The SSOHC joined forces once again with Hertford Town Council. Two separate free Easter trails aimed at children with their families and friends were available to participate in. At the end of the trail you could become the proud owner of one of these characters by entering a raffle.
Wool Amnesty
The SSOHC launched a two-week wool amnesty to surrender undesirable wool from homes between Wednesday 23rd January and Wednesday 6th February.
